i took home a beef bulgogi w/ crab pancake and also a tofu & veggies on brown rice dish. i tried both at lunch and they were yummy and cheap (got both for $11.23 and it will all last me at least 3 days!). and they say you can't eat cheaply in new york. too bad i forgot it at work.
by the way, there is no better feeling than hitting each subway train right on time so that i get home in under 40 minutes. today was the best subway ride ever. ok, not really but i was so happy to get home before 6:45 since, yesterday, i was on the 5 train and after it left the bowling green station, it returned right back and there was an announcement, 'this subway is no longer in service'. wtf?! i mean each train was loaded full of people trying to get home and it's suddenly just out of service? did it hit 6:30 and the conductor was like i'm gone? i'm out!? so needless to say, i got home a lot later than i wanted since i had to get off and take the 2 which has many more stops than the 5. note: when taking the subway, pay attention to the announcements. if the train is local than it will stop on every stop on that line. if it's express, it will skip some. it may be yours.
xoxo,
p.
